Your life honestly sounds like how mine was. I grew up addicted to video games. Never was outside, was always inside, loved playing CoD and RPG games. Wanted to always push to the next level. High-school grades were terrible and I had no motivation or thought on what to do with my life. People always doubted me and told me I wasn’t smart enough for the tech industry and said I wouldn’t have the motivation based off of my high-school grades. But one day I just had enough and knew I had to at least attempt and do something or else I would never know if I could prove people wrong or not. Applied for college and now I’m mid way through searching for a internship. I’ve been addicted and never have I ever been more excited to learn more and progress through college. I guess when you start college at an older age you also see the value and you have a meaning behind going to college vs coming straight out of high-school and not knowing what to do so you enter a random field with no sort of motivation to push through. Anyways, wish you the best on your journey bro.

I'd love to hear how you balance university and working full time. I'm only doing a 16 hour/week internship and uni and it can still get chaotic sometimes with all my classes.

Your point about fulfilling the need to create something out of thin air is exactly my reason for starting. I've been hobbying music production for 5 years now since I was 13 just making stuff that I can think about, and I couldn't find anything else that allowed me so much freedom, so I hope coding can do that for me

Hey Luke, at least you're good at solving the bug that is interfering with your system! There's where the mind of an engineer comes in handy. I'm sure many of us would rack our brains for hours on end and still would be facing a knundrum at the finale.😢😊

I kinda feel you on that part when we lose some hours in bugs and on that moment of the PR it feel soo good even its like one line or one validation.. it feels amaazing. I alredy comment in you vids before, and I kinda do some games but what can be usefull is to have a separated ambient only for work, because back on days I had everything together and since i kinda splited I became more productive and also having time to game too.
