Michael McManes is firm that Eastside Dodge is a family business. Michael speaks of his family's business with fondness. His father bought Eastside in 1987, and started the tradition of vehicles in the McManes family. Michael hopes to be able to continue the family business, and his passion for Eastside with his two young boys as they grow up. Michael believes that passion for his business comes from meeting and interacting with his customers. Michael appreciates their business and believes there is nothing better than repeat customers. "We're straight shooters here" says Michael, "We do things honestly." The team at Eastside try to make the car buying business as quick and painless as possible. At any given time Eastside Dodge has 700-1000 new vehicles, as well as 100 to 150 used vehicles. With so many facets of business coming in they like to ensure that whatever their customers needs it is available to them. Eastside Dodge, and now Eastside Fiat offer new and used cars, the body shop, parts department, service departments, internet sales, and even a full deli called "Jim Hortons" in case you need something to eat while you wait. They ensure their staff is completely trained so that they are able to offer simply the best service and expertise. They do weekly training both online and in-house. The technicians are sent away to a training facility on a monthly, or even weekly basis. According to Michael, "we all want to know someone in a business" and at Eastside they like to say "now you know someone from the car business."
