That teal blue is super nice with the wood.

And the lamp as a complementary color is nice too, but i can see how the original vision was to have them a bit more seemless and less contrast but it works out really good.

I think the blue fits beautifully and creates a great natural analogous color scheme with the yellow pendant light and the greens in the plant!! The upside is you can always upholster later when you want something different, and you got it at SUCH a great price!
