Over a decade and a half since Usain Bolt gapped the entire field and it still never ceases to amaze

This race outcome will come down to who has the nerves and guts to handle the pressure.

I have never seen an athlete that has been this consistent yet doubted every time. Lyes career is definitely interesting, but I think it will keep him hungry.

I was there in London for the Diamond League meet. So many incredible performances in just a few hours.

Went back and watched Kishane's 9.77 and 9.91 after Noah set a PB in London. Noah will go 9.7x in Paris, but I feel Kishane will go even faster. In his 9.77, he was looking side to side and slowing down after 70m. In his 9.91 he did the same (into a headwind) Can't wait for Paris, and I wonder who will battle for that other podium spot, with the likes of Simbine, Tebogo, Kerley, & Kenny all looking amazing and peaking at the right time

Wow.. Kishane Thompson and Noah Lyles are truly some of the most talented sprinters of this era. Good luck to both of them in the Olympics!❤❤️

I remember commentators before the 2008 finals saying that Bolt was one of the favourites, but no-one expected him to do anything like what he did, he was just regarded as one of the contenders for gold. Honestly, it's so difficult to call, because those sort of moments, whilst they don't come out of nowhere, they exceed expectations so much that no-one is going to call it.

Oblique Seville of Jamaica is a dark horse. He is capable of spoiling the Noah and Kishane show.

I got Noah winning at the Olympics due to experience. I haven't seen Kishane much out of Jamaica to know how good he really is. Noah probably will be able to dip in 9.7 territory. Honestly the 100m is really stacked regardless of who you pick.

A betting man looks at more than a season worth of info.

2022 Knighton had the world best 19.49, Lyles broke the American record at the World Champs with 19.31.

2023 Hughes ran a PR of 9.83 and Tebogo ran a PR of 19.50, Lyles beat them both in the World champs, with times of 9.83 and 19.52.

2024 Thompson has run 9.77 and the closest to Lyles in the 200 is Bednereck at 19.59.
Lyles is amazingly consistent at peaking when it matters and he THRIVES on the moment, crowd, and energy of the big stage. It's safe to say, Lyles will be the man to beat in BOTH the 100 and 200 at the Olympics, if recent history has anything to say about it.

The 200m WR is on watch, and a sub 9.75 is probable for the 100m final.

Kishane hasn't shown the world his all-out performance yet. I remember seeing this dude for the first time closing in on Christian Coleman at an insane rate in a Diamond league race in 2023 from lane 8. Just pure raw power!!

obviously no one saw kishane last race he had Akani SIMBINE and Letsile TEBOGO beat in the first 60m and jogged the rest of the race and noah running all out to beat them big difference

All the pressure is on Noah...he is the world champion and the one running his mouth about running fast.

Bro Kishane Thompson slowed down while Noah ran his heart out to a 9.8. You think Kishane Thompson has been sleeping since he ran his 9.77 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

A little off topic but 5:11 seeing Yohan run a 10.23 is sad in a way. I wish he would have retired before he got to this point.

I want Noah to win, chilled quirky dude who has done more for the sports than any of his counterparts. he deserves the glory, even if it is just temporarily.

I just wonder what Letsile Tebogo could achieve with the same access to the money and quality of training and nutrition other athletes get. I'm so proud of him! 🇧🇼! He's often overlooked.

MHS needs his own video. The man just coasted Kirani’s PB like it was nothing.

Biggest performance this weekend.

There’s a hurricane taking the 100m by storm in Paris and it’s name is Kishane. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Lyles cannot defend his global title in Paris because he did not win in Tokyo. The Olympics is different from the World Championships. As good as Lyles is in the 100m, I do not see him winning in Paris. He might barely scrape a bronze if any medal at all.
