Thanks for the review, Dani, but I must admit I'm irked by a company selling an expensive mascara that they suggest you use with another expensive mascara for best results! Don't get me wrong, I'll spend some $$$ for great lashes, but if I'm paying $20-$30 for mascara it had better do the trick without help!

I just got a tester size tube of the Benefit Roller Lash in my Glossybox, and O. M. G. it works! I'm in my 50's and have overly sparse lashes that grow almost straight down. Lash curlers do nothing for me, because after a few minutes my lashes are pointing down again.... even with water proof mascara. This mascara made a HUGE difference, even though I used 3 coats. Wow... I'm more than very impressed with this mascara!!

What makes a difference with this wand are the little hooks that grip your lashes! I LOVE IT!

I'm so excited that you mentioned reading instructions, because I opened up my NARS Sheer Glow instructions after watching your video (and I sometimes find this foundation a little cakey) and it says the same thing about warming it up in your hands! Also, I love your lips...whenever I see you wearing El Agua lipliner I think I need that in my life!!

The roller lash is my favorite new mascara! I've been using it for a month now and I definitely don't use a curler anymore since it does such a great job curling my lashes for me. I think it might be the way dani hooks and roll it. The rolling part is what curls them if you do it right.

For me this mascara looks like to much effort. I like mascaras that take one sweep and make my lashes look amazing!! Great video dani xx

I have the horse/roofline lashes and this curls my lashes. There is another tip that you didn't mention. You are supposed to roll the wand as you are pulling it up through your lashes. This helps the hooks to grip and roll your lashes up. It won't give you super curled lashes, but it does lift them and give them a natural curl. I love this mascara and its amazing on my straight and downward pointing lashes.

Thanks for the instruction tip. I actually just got this mascara and didn't bother reading the instructions. I have the other mascara too so thanks. Going to try it today. I am getting my first tattoo today!

I never read the instructions, I'm so excited when I get something new that I have to use it as soon as a get home (or sometimes even in the car).
But I'll pass on that mascara, because well, it's 24 dollars and the results by itself don't convince me. The combo is great, but then 2 mascaras, it's around 50 dollars, when a 4 dollars one is just as good. I love the Essence pink one I think the name is I heart crazy volume).
It's a great trick for all the girls who already bought it, so thank you for sharing it Dani!

This mascara brush looks exactly like the Covergirl clump crusher... And I feel like you have to use a lot of mascara to use this one. And the Covergirl one seems exactly the same. Can you compare them? I'm generally curious because they look so similar.

I love this mascara! I received a sample from Sephora and I think it works amazing, even on its own!! It's really easy to quickly apply before heading off for the day!! Love it!
