Calling an older man (ammo) because you consider him like your uncle (your fathers brother) while calling an older woman (khalto) because you consider them your aunt (your mother’s sister). In other words, you consider them really close to you that the man is close to your father and the woman is close to your mother.

Hahaha yes if we say keep your shoes on it is ok
It doesn't mean it is really OK 😂
But we try to be polite to make u have all your comfort 😂👌

You are learning very well and I'd say you might be more appreciative of the Jordanian values than some Jordanians. Good job!

My fiancee and I will be getting married in Jordan after coronavirus settles down, Insha'Allah, so I've been nervous how to act around his family and people in general when we get there. Your videos help me so much and make me less anxious. Thank u ☺☺

Rachel salam aleikum! I love your videos a lot. You know the funny thing is, we in the Netherlands have the same crazy greeting ceremony at bigger gatherings.. Mainly at birthdays or something. You made me just realize that. Wish you all the luck over there

Hello
I always watch you and I love the way you talk
We do not put our legs in anyone's face or a tabel infront of him when we are sitting because it is out of respect and that's it

Omg the serving thing is a struggle and I'm a Jordanian myself 😂😂 I usually ask mom what the correct order is before I serve anything 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Khalto means aunt. Calling your mother in law mum or khalto is ok, but never by their names

I honestly don't understand people who don't notice or care when their feet are facing others, I change my posture every time someone walks in the room 😂

Peace be upon you, to be honest I found the channel 4 days ago and until now I have watched all your videos, you have an amazing content also great personality . About the foot in the face it’s just a custom known to all Arabs and it’s polite to not do, Arabs will be offended if someone does that ... keep going I wish all the best for you ..

Yeah you should never ever point your feet towards anyone that is extremely disrespectful. I got scolded my parents for doing it once😭😂😂I leaned my lesson
