SMOOTH LIKE URETHANE? | Columbia 300 Pure Madness

Показать описание
The Pure Madness brings another solid HK22 asym to the mix with ERT Solid coverstock. The Craze core isn't big flaring or high intermediate by any means, so the ball was very smooth and very slow to respond to friction. If you need to control patterns and you don't want to use urethane, the Pure Madness may be the ball for you!

🚨🚨🚨BRAND NEW BRUNSNICK MERCH!🚨🚨🚨
I have collaborated with Inside Bowling to design some t-shirts and here they are! Sport some OG BrunsNick gear, check out the link!

With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:

Launch Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Entry Speed - Speed measured at the pins. (What you'd see on your home center MPH screens)
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based on the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

Man the Brands of Brunswick are crushing it right across the board. This HK-22 is ridiculously good and they are only getting better! Thanks BrunsNick.

Sweet! I've been waiting all week for your review. I was thinking about this ball but I really want a track ball.

I think it would be great if Columbia 300 would go back to the old logo they had on their bowling balls back in the day

The colors and the swirl they make remind me a lot of the 900 Global Moxie. Which was one of the very few Global bowling balls I liked.

I'm a fan of smooth, controlled arches with bowling balls and this seems like a future buy for me. I'm getting a Stealth Track Solid drilled right now with a 3 1/2 inch pin. Depending on how that looks for me, I'll probably do something similar to this one.

When you played out it burned up in the midlane and rolled dead forward.
When you played much further inside the extended time in the oil helped it retain energy better but it was not convincing.
I think this is just one of the low rev bowler throw it straight up 10 balls.

This one looks like it would be a great fit for those who lack enough hand to comfortably throw urethane.

That ball definitely needs some oil up front to be usable without an adjustment. How close is it to the 3.0? The 3.0 almost seems cleaner and more around the corner for as heavy as it seems to want to roll.

Do you think this ball would match up well with a short pin layout?

I get major TNT vibes from this one...Coming from one of the few that actually liked the TNT

Could the pure madness be considered a replacement for the infinity?

Is it like the NU or Ocean vibe? Or replacement for an envy tour?

Nick for the price of the Columbia pure madness vs. the hammer 3.0 that you video for us. Both come in at 159.00 so I would probably get the 3.0. Hammer. Thanks again for the awesome video. I’m trying to buy 3 new balls 2 asymmetric and 1 symmetric, ethos would be one or the other one from Brunswick with the crazy core.?? Let me know what you think. Thank you nick

Could this one be smooth because of the layout or core shape?

I'm wondering if that ball would have a little more attitude for you if it was a little closer Pin to PAP...I know you only recently started going 5" on the assyms

I'm a once a week league bowler 13mph, tweener. Looking for a ball I can play straighter on dry conditions and burnt up house shots. Would you recommend a this, a weaker resin ball, urethane, nu blue hammer, and which ones? Thanks
