I have tried everything in this video, I looked through the comment and couldn't find other fixes other users tried like profiles and such in the documents. I have been spending at least 3 hours now to figure out how to fix this. It ridiculous I am paying 150$ for a mw2 update pretty much just to not work... I refunded it once already due to game not even working, and I decided to give them another chance, but no they just slap me and tell me to f*ck off. They need to find a fix asap if they want players to access and give reports on what needs to be fixed! We really need a solution. We appreciate your vidoes, Keep up the work!

for me on blizzard i click play then it just says launching and it does nothing afterwards

By the way, if you have tried all these methods and they didnt work, consider loading optimised bios values ( factory reset bios) overclocking does cause this issue too. Especially any changes to the cpu cache speed. I spent 3 days trying to get it to work after 2 windows fresh installs i just reset the bios to default and it worked.

Just in case this did not work for any of you make sure to uninstall ReWASD because I assume that Activision sees it as a cheat and that prevents the game from running. I did this and I was struggling with this issue for a while.

yeah I've done all this, I was just playing this fine the other day before season 1 reloaded. Now it crashes about 20 seconds after game launches. No other game crashes.

My Game doesnt start. When I press play its says "game is playing currently" but after some time it just goes to "play" back. Also when I want to scan and repair I waited 3 hours and got 5%, I dont think it should be like that. Can someone help?

I setup and ethernet connection yesterday and it all started there. This is the only game that wont start. I've tried everything in this video, alongside troubleshooting multiple times, turning off my firewall, everything I could think of. Does anyone have any other ideas?

This guy is funny. He's making a fix tutorial of something he doesn't even have on his computer. What a legend. Anyway, nothing worked for me. I reinstalled twice, it starts but when i click on MW3 from the ingame menu it crashes and then wants me to start in safe mode and that doesnt work either. I'm giving up hope. Thanks.

Somehow changing files and making it to think its validating worked for only launching the game. But when I do so, it gives me the HUENEME- NEGEV error. Perfect.

To anyone stuck on the "checking for update" screen, the only "immediate" fix I have found that genuinely works everytime is just waiting. It's taken between 5 and 10 minutes of waiting on the checking for update screen, then it will eventually say "update requires restart" and you should be good to go.

I just cant play cod. I tried all these fixes. About 30 other things too. Nothing works. I start up, I can watch the entire cutscenes in full, then it crashes on the first load, the part with retrieving data. If I skip the cutscenes it crashes in the same spot. The game is so fucking broken. Ill never buy another one, thats for sure.
