I have a Raider and love it. When the Eluder and Venture hit the market I was hooked enough to want to trade up to the Venture as my wife and started going on longer road trips and the Raider really wasn't built for that. She often said, "No way, I love our bike and let's keep it". Well this past weekend we ended up at the dealership and they had the Venture there. We sat on it and she was blown away at how comfortable it was, the features, and the look. Now all she talks about is getting a Venture and planning some long distance trips. We love our Raider, but the Venture is in our future.

I am quite pleased and amazed by this bike. This bike replaced my Street Glide, wow this bike is nimble. It has a great audio system way better than Boom GTS. I got the GT model and it has everything you can ask for.

Bring back the Stratoliner with this engine and reverse sure park. Do this at a lower price and its a no brainer moneywise.

I'm only 4 foot six inches, and I want this bike! But my wife (who is six foot ten) says If I buy it, she'll only ride with me if she drives. I am looking for some of those old disco platform shoes, so I can be the one in front!!! But, I can't find them at walmart:(

I think the major downside of this big boy is the mileage. It's only 34 mpg which i think is a joke. Even the new Goldwing can produce better mileage despite having a smaller fuel tank

Let’s be this is a very nice bike, .... but unfortunately here in America if you’re going to pay over $20, 000 for a cruiser you’re going to buy a Harley in these bikes are sitting in the dealership and they’re already discounting them because they’re not this is a hard market for Yamaha to get into in if you don’t believe me just look at the Yamaha star cruisers, They stop production on every one of them but the bolt and these if they want to sell them they need to drop the price by around five to bottom The reason Yamaha doesn’t make cruisers anymore is because they didn’t sell enough here in America to make a and if I was to make a prediction they will discontinue these air cooled vtwins within 3 to 5 years.

I like the look of the bike, I like the sound, I like the storage, I like the concept... in just about every way, I'd consider buying this motorcycle except for two glaring reasons:

1) There's no way that bike can be *anywhere near* comfortable to ride for extended periods with a 900 cc air-cooled rear cylinder sitting inches from your groin

2) There's no way that I'm paying over $20, 000 for a touring bike when the used bike market is FILLED with used with under 30K miles for a third of the price

When will manufacturers realize that this unceasing rise in prices is going to be their own death knell?

Do u need to use clutch all the time or just for 1st gear?

One problem...only 85hp. If this thing had say 140 or more I would end my search but it can't compete with the Indian chief or Honda F6B.
