It crazy. It shows that Mahoraga was completely adapting to everything Sukuna threw at him until Fuga completely evaporated him while he was still regenerating. You see the wheel lock in and then the feints stop working immediately.

to answer your question about the toji and dagon fight, all the blue ray fights undimmed and have no ghosting

Something I don't know if you notice is that im both versions of this fight, EVERYTHING starts burning.
That's because, unlike in his fight with Jogo, his domain's sure hit means that even while forming the attack, everything ignites.

For your information, all of the Ghosting and Dimming get removed in the Blu-ray releases. So not only the Toji vs Dagon fight, but every fight prior to this and that fight will have any sort of regulation removed.

This was beyond amazing, and yea in blue ray most of the time the dimming is removed so yeah probably toji vs dagon looks much more sharper and brighter now

Yes, the Blue-Ray version removed dimming for all the episodes. The Gojo and Dagon fights without dimming is actually so beautiful and it feels completely different with dimming.

Recently we Weilan Zhang released their storyboards for this fight, so here are some thing I'd like to highlight from the storyboards.

Mahoraga actually positions its body so that it can launch its body parts like missles, when they are cut by Sukuna. It's a bit hard to see, but at 5:31 we see Mahoraga counter attack by launching his bottom half into a knee to hit Sukuna when he was cut in half.

Sukuna realized this, and started pump faking by throwing out fake Dismantles. 6:09 this scene was basically showing Mahoraga shadow boxing to try and anticipate when its arms would get cut off, and to launch them at Sukuna. Though of course Sukuna is just there pump faking him.
6:04 this scen is to show the wheel, frantically trying to adapt to Sukunas pump fakes, and eventually Mahoraga does adapt, and launches a faint that hit Sukuna here. 6:15
It isn't shown here because Michael cut it out, but just as Sukuna is about to be hit, we can see him smiling. The reason was because Sukuna was getting a kick out of basically teaching the DIVINE general to lie (throwing a faint.) This man basically made a heavenly creature lie, and pumped faked the hell out it, just for fun and to make him look goofy 😭😭 He's a fucking menace.

I love to think that the animators watch reaction videos of the anime to see how others react to their hard work. I’d bet they love the parts where reactors just start jumping around, pausing the videos, laughing in amazement, etc.
