Has it really been that long? Soo nostalgic. Looks really great, gonna have to get this game again and play it all over. Wished they had come out again with a physical copy for the ps4 just like the FF X-X2 Hd remastered.

This was actually the first FF game I played during my childhood. I only got up to that mock sword fight scene on 24:52 until the game crashed on my PS1, since the disc I was using was only a copy.

Just got this on PS4. Looks great. I first played it on PS1. Got to the end boss an never finished it. I just took first control of Steiner. So far, next to 7 an 12, one of the best.

They're baiting me with that amazing PS4 theme. Don't get me wrong, I played IX and it's fantastic, but after playing FFVII on PS4, I prefer the graphical, retro charm of the original PS1 versions. Plus, the music in the originals play in sink with certain scenes, while these remasters sometimes have songs still playing in the background during pivotal moments.

I might consider getting this another time, that is unless they release FFVIII: my favourite game in the series. As long as the original music is intact, then I'll definitely purchase it Day One, plus IX as well.

Yeah the backgrounds are a bit jarring against the rest being but I can't stop watching!
disc 1 of FF XI is just perfect.

if Final Fantasy IX ever gets a remake, I think Kyle Hebert would make a decent Steiner, or Steve Blum. Bryce Papenbrook as Zidane of course, Cherami Leigh as Garnet, Brina Palencia or Caitlin Glass as Beatrix, Jessie Flower as Eiko, and maybe Crispin Freeman, or J. Michael Tatum as the fist guy, or Patrick Seitz, and how about the Kingdom Hearts 2 voice actor for Vivi? I think those are my choices for the voice cast.
