Today I have been test riding the GSX S750 (2017)! Riding this brand new 4-cylinder was a awesome riding experience. Such a smooth motorcycle! Maybe a little too smooth? Check out my opinion and watch my review of the GSX S750 (2017). I recorded my ride with high quality sound. Enjoy! :-)

It's an awesome machine. On the backroads, everything works in symphony and you find yourself flowing through the countryside - fast. It will make you better rider. And that glorious sound. It's not a twin, it's not a triple - it's an unabashed classic I4, a jar of angry bees - and it may be the last 750 - the place where modern motorcycling began. Such a wonderful machine.

you get more power when you open the throttle!

It is not mt07 or mt 09, and it is not every single throttle pulse ready for wheelie...you can ride in the city very easy without big suprise...boring??? You should try :) The engine is suzuki 750 cc gixxer racing engine, it revvs very fast to its second life, after 8000rpm it pulls really fast, it is down on power to original 140 or something ps, but it has much much better low grunt and very short ratios and big sprocket, because it is naked, they set all the power not between 0 to 280, they put it 0 to 240, so virtually acceleration almost same as racing 600 or 750 bike until 200...and after 9000 and 10000 it is such a crazy power, and controlled power wheelies at full gas, thanx to traction control keeps it down and secure...and airbox noise is very very addicting...you dont need slip on actually, if you dont like show...good bike for not very experqnced riders or who is experienced but wants to enjoy full gas it on street and city, because you cant do that at 1000, if you are not on unlimited autabahn...for me dream bike...boring? I say you buy 2 bikes depending on your wrist ;-)

The power is the same as the MT-09. It just needs rev and you actually opening it up. This is one of the more underrated bikes there is. It holds corners way better than the MT-09 prior 2021. It can be driven way smoother and the brakes are better. But if you like one wheel on the ground the MT is better.

What you seem to see as negatives are exactly why i bought this bike. I prefer smooth, linear, predictable turbine like acceleration on a bike over the neck snapping torque at low speeds that the MTs put out. Handles like a dream too, it's planted to the road and the brakes are very good also.

Man, its a 4 cylinder engine not 3, to get the power you need to get up to 6k rpm and above, thats where the power is and u didnt do it... Comon

It seemed that due to the roads that you were riding on, you weren't able to open the throttle much. The S750 has a meaty mid-range, above 5000 RPM. Also, did you check the TC level?
And I'm not sure if the comparison with Z650 is reasonable. Both machines belong to a totally different class - drivetrain, chassis and suspension wise.

Not enough power? Hey body, you were riding in RAIN MODE!!! Check user manual))) or make number 1 mode and you ll see the power

I have a gsxs750 and I have to say it's an awesome bike, so agile and precise, plenty of power and very rewarding in the Twisties

I grew to like the Manga style of the GSX-S 750. It has a classic 4 cylinder sports engine (from the GSX-R) and delivers its surprise between 9500 and 11000 rpm. Never drop the engine revs below 8500. It's a classic no compromise sports screamer. All these modern bikes are too much tuned for every day use and can't compete with it. The GSX-S is a race track weapon and corners like a knife at high speeds.

I have taken mine to western sydney dragway.... it gets up to 230kmh pretty quick.
You should try riding it withe the revs over 7000rpm thats where this bike comes alive!

I think Suzuki has the best stuff out right now. The V-strom is awesome, and the SV is a lovely little bike. The GSX-Ss are excellent as well. The only quality competition is the series of Yamaha triples.

For example... Honda has the CB650F, which is a nice upright 4-cyc with ABS, but it's the EXACT same price as this GSX-S750, which has way more power AND traction control. Kudos to Suzuki, in my opinion. Kawi z800 doesn't have traction control either, and it's in the next insurance bracket up (so much more expensive to insure). Suzuki hits it in the sweet spot again.

helo there..how can you compare this with the z900?? gsx s750 is better in term of the electronics (traction control)..but the z900 have a better engine and better price in my country...how about the handling?

Still running mine in but I love the fact that it has silky smooth power delivery (below 5750rpm that is). A little heavy but once rolling that seems to disappear. I like it's looks and especially the pearl white paint on mine. I like the wide tank and the tiny pillion seat which discourages pillions! The dash is often described as cluttered but the main things you want to see (rpm, mph and gear position) are prominently displayed. I have done less than 100 miles on mine and I am hooked. It is a great bike for the price and if (like me) you have limited funds, that is a factor to consider if you want a new bike rather than a used bike. As a first "big" bike it is a viable option too, simply because it is so smooth and handles well in traffic. Yep, I am a fan of Suzuki Bikes and especially this one.

You are a rider, like many, that much prefer the more instant power delivery that comes on sooner and lower in the rev range that a twin or triple will provide, that a comparably or lower displacement inline-four simply cannot. I've spent most of my life on twins, and I love that low down grunt too, but then I'm left wishing for more top-end. The triples look to be a great compromise between the two, but I don't like the Yamaha bikes at all. If I were to go for a triple, I'd be looking at the new Triumph Street Triple 765, but at the same time, I think this GSX-S750, with a good pipe and better fuel mapping, may be quite a beast in its own right.

Could it be maybe because you had the bike on the 3rd traction control the whole time? (TC for rainy conditions). Greetings from Madrid.

I like both the GSXS and the MT 09. But I think the videographer does not understand the difference between horse power and torque. I'd guess he's never been over 110 mph on his MT 09. If you think a GSXR engine is boring (this is a 2005 GSXR engine) then it is about you and not about the bike. Sad to see a champion racing motor get thrashed by someone who doesn't understand a power band.

Comparing 2 and 3 cylinders with 4, showed that you are inexperienced reviewer.

What do you find the difference between GSXR-750 as far as engine. More torque down low?
