Yeah, this is so true, people get biased on this "diet" is best, but stick to varied whole foods & you can't go wrong. Great guest, we'll have to get him on TEM podcast.

Yes, of course, the blue zones undoubtedly have influence over the longevity of the people who live in them. I agree with all that's been said. And, genetics play a part. I know, for example, that I'll most likely die before my time because of the oversensitive bio-marker on my DNA. It alone, has contributed more to my decline than anything else. Because I'm genetically more sensitive than most, I have a greater tendency to live in this "fight or flight" space most of the time. As the result, cortisol is usually coursing through my system, causing all kinds of damage.
I receive ongoing therapy for coping with my stress-response, but I can feel the harm that's been caused, after 50 years of havoc in my central nervous system.

Don't feel like you have to live in a blue zone in order to get healthier - get proper therapy. It's the single most effective way to ensure you'll live longer and be present to enjoy it.

Minerals. The Blue Zones are by oceans. At night the sea minerals come in and coat the land. The veggies there are the best. Watsonville Calif or Sardenga Italy.
