PCA Potomac PorscheFest HPDE 2021-08-01 Black Run Group Session 2

Second session for Black (advanced) run group at the PCA Potomac Region's high performance driver's education (HPDE) event at Summit Point. Car is a 2017 718 Porsche Cayman S with Bridgestone RE-71R tires on 19" OZ wheels. Brakes are custom Coleman 2-piece front rotors at OEM size, Sebro slotted rear rotors, and PFC PF08 race pads. Track conditions were good, with a light drizzle having just finished, cool for summer air temps, and good track surfaces.

My previous personal best was 1:23.x. Earlier in the morning, I'd ridden with a more advanced driver in my car, observed the improvements over my driving, and was now attempting to replicate them--- to great success. New PRs were laps 4, 8, and 9. I decided to pit at the end when my intercooler was heat soaked and power dropped. The throttle data appears to be frequently inaccurate when not 100%.

Very nice. You were really moving in the last laps. I could tell how much earlier you were getting in the throttle when you had an open track.
