I think having a amethyst and diamond version of the top card in a set is actually a good thing for the player base. Alot of players wouldnt get to use those players other wise as not everyone can afford pink diamond. Just they should move those two as rewards in other modes or "todo checklist" or a new token for the cards in season rewards.
