Qualified immunity is unconstitutional and should be abolished. But the ones making the rules will never make a rule that doesn't favor themselves

To all cops: You want your respect back? THEN EARN OUR TRUST BACK! As long as you fear integrity and accountability, you are NOT the good guys! It's BS like this that proves why NONE of you deserve ANYTHING!

Too bad they don't hold elected officials to the same standards and scrutiny. They also took an oath to uphold the Constitution.

This is a prime example of why you can't issue a gun and a badge to just anyone who has a high school diploma and a driver's license.

I would be tickled if the judge in sentencing said to the cop who destroyed evidence, "Because you destroyed evidence, I can only assume it was terribly damning information of the most egregious kind, so I am forced to give you the most severe sentence allowed by law." Would serve the a-hole right.

Imagine being an officer of the law and paying someone to attend class in your place, under your identity ... just 'cause. I'm embarrassed for their parents.

This is a crying shame for the ones who honestly want to serve their communities. These losers are the bad apples that ruin the whole bunch.
