Did you know that about 90% of all startups fail? I've had multiple startups fail. The biggest business lessons that I learned were from these failures. So, in this video, I am going to share what I learned from those failures.

You’ll never really know how much you have inspired us as a team, and learning your methods has probably saved our company, not blowing smoke just wanted to say thank you 🙏🏻

I would also like to add ... a Solution searching for a problem.... many try to base a business on a problem that has no market they produce some money for the company usually not in the target the other is the one of a kind .... where all the products are made for an individual and need to be re designed each time .... and you think that your only need to do 10 versions of the product but you make one offs for ever

Hi Alex,

A quick case study of how we failed. I had a startup while I was in Undergraduate college. My prospects were students. It was basically a book exchange platform. It went really well when we started and had around 2.5k paying clients in just a few months. It was a slow death like you said because of two reasons.

1. We lacked customer support.
2. My other co-founder wasn't that excited after some time of starting up.

This failure hit me hard that I had to go to a 9-5 job pausing my dream of being a full-time Entrepreneur (though I was doing side hustles along with job). Now, I personally learned and experimented more about closing, on-boarding, customer support, customer success, retention, etc. that I'm now helping other companies deal effectively with their customers working with them as a consultant.

What do you think about this failure?

Oh for sure, my first business I was starting to build was a clothing brand by the name of Finish Strong Apparel.

Why it failed was probably several reasons but I'll list out best what I perceived to be my failures.

1. I was too scared to ask for the sale.
2. I wad focusing too much on the branding and look rather than the message and establishing core values before of chasing money
3. I wasn't aware of the hidden costs of attempting to run a solo business from Europe to the USA when I was in the military.
4. I didn't act on sale opportunities when presented to by even when friends literally pushed buyers to me.
5. I was also in a mindset of scarcity.

With that being all said, I think it's still possible to build it up properly now that I know what I know now however it'll be something that is for a future business because it's cash flow intensive.
