Some of the timings are off but I could literally spend hours trying to fix it and I’m pretty happy with how this turned out overall. Didn’t mean for such a long gap between uploads but it just kinda happened. Hopefully I can find the inspiration to finish some map parts now that this is completed~

Also something that I’ve always wanted to get off my chest- Just because Icewings are white doesn’t mean they have to be all white. They can be blue, purple, whatever and still easily be recognized as pure Icewings. It really helps to differentiate dragons and makes more striking designs. I want to yeet all of those gross wiki designs with the awful grays straight into the Nightwing’s volcano lol.

I feel like Arctic loved his family genuinely, even Darkstalker at one point when he was just a newborn dragonet but the animus magic changed him and made him go back to the way he was before, I honestly feel really bad for him. Maybe if he never used his animus magic to escape the ice kingdom and they found another way to get out of there then the whole story could've been different, he'd probably still complain about the night kingdom but maybe he wouldn't have been so harsh on darkstalker, maybe he wouldn't have gotten into so many fights with foeslayer?

(Edit: This comment is old now, and there are lots of things I don't agree with anymore in this, but I haven't made changes as I forgot about it. I agree that magic is only really bad when someone uses it for evil, otherwise it's mostly fine, and there are other things I've changed my opinion on too, but I don't feel like going back and changing this entire comment lol)

What Darkstalker did to Arctic was horrifying… I remember reading that scene and almost screaming in terror. I admit, Arctic was horrible, but I feel so bad for him. I feel bad for everyone in this family. Thankfully Foeslayer was released from that chamber and got her happy ending and I think Whiteout did too.

Oh my goodness! I adore this! The expressions! The emotions! I think my favorite frame was the one with Whiteout with hypnotized eyes.
I also 100% agree with you on the Icewing design thing. Giving them some blue or purple accents can really differentiate them from each other. (I also have a similar view with Nightwings. They aren't just black. They can be a variety of dark shades.)
Overall, I 100% love this! :)

Ok but small detail I REALLY love about this pmv is that the glimmer in Arctic's scales actually FADES the longer he's not in the Ice Kingdom. It just is a perfect callback to Winter Turning where Winter polishes his scales with snow and ALSO a perfect metaphor to Arctic's fall from grace and slow deteroration from the Icewing Prince and a family man to a bitter, resentful, and regret-filled dragon. It's amazing.

I just gotta say, all of these character designs are freaking gorgeous! All of them really show what makes that character unique. This is the first time I could really look at a Darkstalker design and really see his Icewing heritage. I love the colors for Arctic, and I always wanted to love Whiteout's design and you got everything on her body perfectly. I can't wait to see more.
