With a bit of sound editing you can make a dual channel for the original sound clip. The original sound clip seems to be formatted for only one channel, which oddly enough is what sound equipment in the the theaters matched with the projectors at the time was tuned for. All you would have to do is duplicate the clip in editing and tweak the sound a bit to get a modern day sound. Funny how old artifacts of the 1930s still have these issues in the 21st century .
