When you said, "She's my buddy." I couldn't help but start crying. Years ago I rescued a little red-bellied conure from an abusive situation, brought her back to health and happiness. I named her Buddy. I love, and have had, wonderful companion dogs and cats, but the relationship that Buddy and I shared was the most special of any, animal or human, I have ever experienced before, or since. She was the joy of my life.
Buddy has been gone for 35 years, but I miss her as if she left just yesterday. This video is special (and the music you chose is perfect). I wish you two many years together. Parrots are truly beautiful people. You will never find a better, more loyal friend and companion. ⚘️
