While watching some and listening mostly back in that originating day, I never could choose one favorite over any others.
Roy & Dale (or Dale & Roy), Hopalong Cassidy, Pancho & Cisco, The 'Long' Ranger & Tonto, Guy Madison & Andy Devine (Wild Bill & Jingles) each struck me as wonderful! Never met any except for Madison & Devine. Even got a picture of us all together while Guy was signing something -- a real memento from seventy long years ago.

Ah yes, Roy "riders of the DDT trail", "I sing about DDT", "My horse's dust trail is a DDT cannister in it's bottom" Rogers. Great choice of film, and not that well known I think.

Poodles on Dale Evans outfit was style in the 40’s still a style in 50’s… I wore a skirt and sweater w/poodles on them.

That hacienda has been used in several old westerns. Always was curious where in CA it was.

Well what a good film. And good to see Thurston Hall and Lloyd Corrigan too Not sure why they ended up back in a theatre for the end number but who cares :)

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT BECAME OF MARY LEE? SHE WAS A TERRIFICALLY TALENTED SINGER WHO APPEARED IN THIS AND SEVERAL OTHER ROY ROGERS AND GENE AUTRY PICTURES AND ALSO IN THE ORIGINAL NANCY DREW MOVIES WITH BONITA GRANVILLE. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BIG, BIG STAR. ANYONE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?
