As I child I watched Bernard on Jackanory and grew up with his songs. As an adult I watched him on Dr Who and CBeebies with my children. What a wonderful career he had and he seemed such a lovely man. Rip Bernard.

My mother's favourite song I always played this record on my record player for her, I was a carer for 27 years looking after her until the end Happy memories

This song is where Right said Fred took the name from, and then wrote " I'm too sexy". Then Taylor Swift sampled that song and came up with the hit "look what you made me do".Bernard is a part of people's lives even if they don't know who he is. He was apart of my childhood with his music and acting and I'm so glad he was a part of my children's childhood, with his work in doctor who and children's television. he was a master at whatever he turned his hand to and will be missed alot by all his fans young and old. RIP Bernard Cribbens O.B.E.

Another legend gone, we'll never see the likes again.
Only talentless "Reality celebrities" with a shelf life of weeks rather than the years of great entertainers like Bernard.

So lucky to have grown up with his films and TV shows. My two favourites are Two Way Stretch and Crooks in Cloisters.
Wonderful talent, wonderful human being.
Thanks Bernard for everything. Rest easy.

Bernard Cribbins actually appeared in the pop group Right Said Fred's 1993 charity single "Stick it out"... the guy was an absolute legend and loved watching this old video after all these years. I'm sure he's entertaining them all up in heaven now. 🙂

Cribbins and his fellow performers of that time, how's that for longevity in showbiz?!! Not a year or two but decades, entertaining audiences young and old. All those wanting instant fame, learn from this lot. They put in the hard work and reaped the rewards. RIP Bernard.
