Borough Market is London's Oldest fruit and veg market and on Joolz's list of top things to do in London. Joolz tries out the best sausage rolls in London, organic iced tea and even award winning English wine!
London Bridge used to be the main gateway into London when there was only one bridge across the Thames so a market sprung up here.
Chaucer would have passed through on his way to Canterbury whilst writing the Canterbury Tales, as he set of from a pub nearby called The Tabard.
These days it's a very popular place for Londoners and tourists alike to buy fresh produce which has all been ethically sourced. There is even a Borough Market panel of judges who make sure that everything is up to standard because it's run by a charity.
If you want a London guide where you meet the actual characters of London Joolz Guides is for you. In Borough Market he introduces you to the stall holders as well as seeing where Bridget Jones lived.

I worked just down the street. I loved the mushroom pate that was mentioned. The spice store in there is quite good. The paella place over by staircase that leads up to London bridge was one of my usual lunch spots.

Those sausage rolls really are quite something special. They're huge as well and are sold at the Ginger Pig stand.

Loved Borough Market. Sat in a bakery across from the pub at 1:22 (I think) and had a lovely coffee cake. Then when I bought fish and chips across the way, there was no place to sit so I sneakily took an outdoor seat at the bakery to eat it. Guess they recognized me from before because nobody chased me away. Could spend a whole week just in Borough Market.

I popped into The Globe pub to meet a mate for a beer about 18 months ago. I'd not been there before, but I have to say I wasn't over enamoured - when my friend arrived, he told me they'd redecorated it since his last visit (possibly different brewery, too), really stripped it of much of it's charm.

I'm in the North East of England, and I would travel the 250 miles, just to sample the delights of that place

The fact that the girls at the start of the video use the word 'like' so often is, unfortunately, indicative of the changing face of the inner London boroughs in the east. No real Londoner speaks like this unless you've, like, got lots of money yah? We've seen it all before in West London many years ago and it's happening all over
