I feel Mac here a lot. This song is obviously about the lockdown and being "holed up, locked out, shut in, held down". Mac recently talked about how his making music felt pointless without having the crowds to look forward to and perform for, where he truly thrives in terms of his music. The beginning is him walking into his studio and walking right out, not having the motivation to get down to it. The end is a hopeful note, as he peers back inside to see if it's still there and waiting for him. Did he walk back in? We'll find out soon.
