The Scary Truth About Florian Wirtz Nobody Is Noticing

Football lovers, we have an absolute star on our hands. He’s 21, he’s German, he’s entertaining, and boy is he so damn good! But there’s one scary truth about Florian Wirtz that no one seems to be noticing.

Wirtz was born in Germany into a footballing family. His father is the chairman of German football club Brauweiler where he started his career, his parents are his agents, and his sister is also a professional footballer. So, it’s no surprise that he started playing football at the very tender age of 5. Then he moved to FC Köln when he was 7 and it was there it all started for him. He was in Köln’s youth team for 10 years, and then in 2017, Bayer Leverkusen saw him and immediately snatched him.

You see, Leverkusen have a knack for spotting brilliant young talents. They signed Havertz when he was 11, signed Carvajal at 20, signed Son at 20, signed Vidal at 20… So, when Leverkusen showed interest in a 16-year-old Wirtz, we should all have known that he was the real deal.
