Can the Democrats Ride a Blue Wave to Midterm Election Wins?

The Democrats have a "blue wave" of momentum building for the 2018 midterms, thanks to a motivated base, success in special elections and a low approval rating for President Trump. Will that be enough to take back the House and the Senate?

Don't forget about the X factor. The same people who voted for Trump, and who just don't feel like being called a racist, will vote at the same, or higher level REP during this mid-terms. I expect REP to do better than what all the experts think again.

If Democrats pick up seats but not the majority can energized Democratic voters more in 2020 where Trump is on the ballot as the incumbent. Unaffiliated and independent voters are also crucial to whether the GOP keep control of congress and the white house.
