It’s so nice that you were fine with his choice and didn’t try to pigeonhole him into a higher price when he expressed that he care less about his car than the dog. I get the car was rough. The whole thing is that the dog hairs are short and spiny. You can't get those out in ANY REASONABLE TIME. YOU DID FANTASTIC WITH THE TIME

I really appreciate you focusing your limited time on the more difficult areas and not wasting time on the open easy areas that the customer can finish up themselves.
I'm a paraplegic, so im often asking for help or contracting work and it frustrates me when the person helping or working for me waists time on stuff i can do myself.

yes, i have seen a nastier mustang.

I work at publix, and i helped a lady with a mobility scooter to her mustang. a beautiful, black car with a thin red stripe on the side.
She asked me to open the passenger door and put her groceries inside, and when i opened the door, it smelt awful, rotten food everywhere, roaches on the ground and trash thrown every which way.

After i put the groceries away, she thanked me, got in, and just dashed. I was blown away by how awful it was inside

People don’t realize how much time you can truly spend to bring a car back that’s as bad as this one. Personally just from looking at it it would take me about 6-7 hours to get that interior cleaned and protected (if I was by myself).

I once threw up in my car, was on a German Autobahn and before I even reached a place where I could clean myself (let alone the car, roughly) I decorated it two times more. Was a very rough drive home after. I spent the next two hot days at home, in bed, sick and then I phoned for a professional car clean. They charged me only 80 Euros - but I was so relieved, I willingly tipped them 25 % (which is unusual here in Germany, you usually do not tip your mechanic, you tip in restaurants or cab drivers and in hotels) I was soo happy that the car was usable and clean again. The mechanic must have gagged while doing it, I was so apologetic, but I was not vomitting because I was drunk. I had food poisoning, and about 500 km (about 300 something miles) to go, still. So I am very grateful for people who do these cleanings!
