Not everyone is like you Ninja. I am frugal. But my dream home is a farm or log home out in the country with enough land to grow my own food and for my pets and rescue animals. That's all.

I used to think it was outta grasp, but my home tripled in value last year and I was able to get the 57 acres and the ponds with no additional debt! Whoo hoo. The house is smaller but value is subjective.

I loved our Saturn. It ran well, and we finally had to get it go after 21 years. Good car. The best way to buy a car (if you can get to that point) is to pay cash, then make car payments to yourself so you can buy your next car with cash and so forth. I definitely get what you're saying about everyone's house prices going down if yours is....depending on the markets involved. If you're moving across country to a popular area, that will make a difference. Enjoy learning what you have to say!
