Why Musicbed Membership is INCREDIBLE for YouTubers & Wedding Filmmakers!

Back in April one of my favorite music licensing sites, Musicbed, announced that they would be offering a new membership option for filmmakers. As someone that uses them often for music licensing in my wedding films and YouTube videos, the possibility of having access to their highly curated catalog of artists, WHILE saving money was very intriguing to me. 😁

I'm pleased to announce that Musicbed Membership is available now, and with it comes some very impressive pricing! They have also created a new service called syncID, which makes dealing with YouTube's ContentID easy (never thought I would say that).

🔴WARNING: As stated in the video, you still will get copyright claims from Youtube and you have to show every single time you have a license for the song. Every time you use a song you are paying for... WHAT?? So you can't monetize your video until they clear the copyright claim. Not only that, but the artist who created the song can decide not to remove the copyright claim and monetize your video with the song you already paid for. Musicbed is fraud.

Matt if you'll cancel this subscription within 30days there will be no charge? Will I be able to keep and monetize the video uploaded during this time period?? I just need to talk to them during this period because their offer of 50$ per month only for youtube is a little bit to much for my channel... So just want to make sure I can cancel without a costs and if I'll not gonna have to take down those videos I'll use the music for

I read something about Musicbed's subscription not being royalty free so there's the possibility of your content getting flagged by copyright.

All seems great. They have a good selection. Couple things that turned me off was the 12 month commitment and the giant price fluctuations based on projects outside of weddings. If they offer a month to month option, they should allow you to cancel as well.

Any news on Vimeo copyright claims? Vimeo is notorious for flagging and taking down videos with MusicBed tracks! MusicBed, this is very important!!

Awesome! I’ve used Musicbed a bit. Been using Epidemic sound lately. No copyright claims at all. They must not be logged with YouTube content ID at all. At that price I can afford both! I do like Epidemic’s stems for each track where you can split out the drums, melody, bass etc. makes it easy to create fill music. Thanks for the video!

Unfortunately, this sucks for non-profit companies like the one I work for. The minimum starting price (and the company doesn't qualify as we have 115 or 150 something employees) is $1, 000 for prepaid plan. I really wish they would fix the way they price for employees as a non-profit company, like mine can't afford/can't justify spending $2, 000.

Could we afford it? Technically yes. Is it affordable in the budget? Not really. Can a company like mine justify paying this much? No.

This is great for youtubers though, which I'm excited about.
