When I was a kid, I thought life and world is like this picture, like in Disney cartoons, safe and nice. Sadly life and world isn't like that I imagined, but every time I see these type of pictures or music, it's my safe zone.

My mom used to make us watch every disney movie when I was a kid. We have a whole collection of film etc. I remember myself how the disney world amazes me everytime. One of my biggest dreams is going to disneyland with my mom when I started to earn my money. I lost her 4 months ago with an accident. I still want to see disneyland, now for me and for her. Yesterday me and my sister both 27 & 28 years old put on this music and did colouring because we wanted to relax mentally. It literally took me back to 2000 when we were in 1st and 2nd grade when we used to sit and do colouring 🎀🎀✨✨✨ the power which time and music holds is amazing ❤️

I’m fifteen years old, and I still live in my childhood years. I don’t consider it living in the past because I’m moving on with my life and discovering new things, yet I love to reconnect with movies and activities I used to do when I was a lot younger. I just want to say for everyone, life is what you make it. I choose to see life as a fantasy, and you can genuinely achieve anything you desire, only if you want it enough to work extremely hard for it. Life can be marvelous, you just have to enjoy every single thing. See beauty in everything you come across, there’s nothing quite like it. I was in a museum the other day observing the live animals they keep there, and I stood there entranced. There were beautiful animals, I was stunned to see a creature so complex and unique. Everybody walked by within five seconds, not truly enjoying or appreciating what the world offers their eyes. Maybe if you stopped and absorbed it all, you’d feel differently.

I often find myself missing the carefree days of childhood, especially those times spent watching Disney shows and the classic Tom and Jerry with its old animation style. Now that I’m in high school, I listen to these types of music after a big presentations or performances as a way to treat myself and remind myself to relax.

I get why they say, “Enjoy life while you’re still young.” The feelings, colors, and simple joys of childhood don’t last forever, and it’s nice to hold onto those memories. It’s a reminder to savor those happy moments and keep a bit of that childlike wonder alive.

I miss my 1960 and 70s childhood perched on my elbows in front of the TV watching Disney. Life was so simple and ideal. I thought my future would be like that. While it hasn’t been I will always cherish the wonderful memories. Can’t take those from me. 😊
