I did a poor rating… one of those “I wish I could do zero stars”… complained about the company phishing for my personal info before they would help me… and then I got SEVERAL emails where I was BRIBED to remove my rating. They literally offered me money! I added this to my review, I figured it was important for other buyers to know what was going on behind the scenes. Then AMAZON removed the rating because “it was being investigated”. Seriously?? Ratings are definitely skewed. I don’t trust the system AT ALL.

I got a card that told me I can get $10 if I give a 5* rating for a product I bought, but can't say I was asked. This stuff is crazy that sellers are pulling.

Amazon has no problem with fake reviews. I get a card for a product I bought, offering $25 for a 5 star review. I notified amazon, and he guy I chatted with could not have cared less. I posted a review with a picture of it, and they blocked the review.

What you want in an Amazon review, is the one and two star reviews. Find out what can go wrong and what has a pattern of going wrong with an item especially with electronics. I don't care if someone has a lot of five-star reviews if there's five or six one-star that have the exact same issue

Read the reviews, often they aren’t even for the product you are looking for. They are for totally different products.

After working for Amazon, people don't know how Amazon truly is. I will NEVER EVER tell anyone to work for Amazon or even suggest to purchase from the company. I myself have yet to purchase a single item after leaving Amazon from Amazon

I try not to buy anything on Amazon ever, unless I have absolutely no choice. Amazon is often not even close to being the cheapest, people just assume they are. And if people want the only stores left in the country to be Walmart and Amazon in the future, while bitching about you can't find anything locally.

I always check the 1-star reviews before buying anything on Amazon. It's the best way to see potential issues with a product. And Amazon really should do more to filter out fraudulent sellers.
