This video is about the history of complex numbers. I have discussed what is complex analysis. Then, I have discussed about the history of complex analysis. First starting with the discovery of complex numbers, I have shown what are the problems that led to complex numbers. How, the mathematicians, during the early stage, were confused about imaginary numbers. Further, i have shown the discovery of the Italian mathematician Rafael Bombelli's discovery. Then, I have discussed about the emergence of cubic equations. Finally, I have given examples and have shown in this video, the later developments of complex analysis starting from Descartes to Riemann's contribution.
