I’ve bought an elite series 2 just recently and i love it, compared to the scuf i think it has more bang for the buck

Trippin. As an owner of both I gotta say (and most people I stream and game with) I prefer the scuff for sure. It has better grip and better paddle placement without the anoyying magnetic paddles. It just feels and responds better. Super grippy too. Not to mention the mechanical mouse triggers when you engage the trigger stops. I've went through two elites that developed stick drift and weak magnets, one out the box.

I love the series 2 Elite with that said I'm on my fifth one the reliability of it not having stick drift or a damaged RB is ridiculous

Own both and the Scuf is used daily while the Elite sits in the case. i just prefer the placement of the paddles on the Scuf so I can actually grip the controller better. The elite is heavy and feels like a quality product until the triggers stop working and the sticks begin to drift. The Scuf had stick drift at around 6 months of ownership sent for repair and has been working ever since and its been a year. They both have issues but the Scuf wins for me it just feels better in hand.

He forgot durability is why I left elite controllers for a scuff which has digital mouse click bumpers hands down best controller I ever owned

I own both and despite what people say about the quality issues my scuf has been great for me. The paddles just make more sense to me. You can actually “grip” the controller.

the scuff controller wins in terms of competitive play due to it being a modified next gen controller with the new DLI technology reducing the input lag. The elite mk 2 controller does have it too but its not as good as the next gen controller.

As for comfort and versatility, the elite controller wins for all its features, tricks and build quality.

as for durability, that has to go back to the scuff, elite mk 2 are controllers that just wont last as long as the stock controllers. they seem to have issues with stick drift way more often and bumper issues. Also the controller is way more susceptible to wear and tear.

One thing I don’t like about the elite controller is how big the paddles are. I only use the two smaller ones. The larger paddles feel like they are in the way and if you set the controller down it has to be on a flat surface or the large paddles will keep getting pushed vs a scuff controller they are more hidden into the controller and feel really nice to use

the scuf is more reliable and the elite is better and more features but it breaks too easily and trash build quality i hope M$ fixes the quality

I have both and the elite series 2 is a WAY better controller. The Scuf back paddles just break off. Plastic isn't meant to flex repeatedly without eventually cracking. Scuf lasted about a month before it broke irreparably. It's a $40 controller, for real.

I have my scuf controller for over 2 yrs now. Only issue I have is that the usb for the cable is now “loose” and would disconnect and reconnect a lot. Other than that I now have very stick drift(honestly not noticeable) if I put the deadzone on certain games to about 3-4%. I’m on the game ALOT and it’s my main controller I’ve been using. 9/10 for me

Okay. I really want to try out one of these. I’ve never owned a pro type controller. Halo just got revived and I want to experience it at its finest. I keep seeing more bad reviews with both controllers. Is it really worth it? Will it really only last a couple months ? I really only get to play on weekends, for a few hours being a father with a baby and toddler. Could any of these controllers last?

I have had both, and the Scuff wins it simply because I don’t get electrocuted when it’s on low battery, or fully charged, or that when I’m playing whilst charging I don’t singe my finger tips.

This guy must be paid by Microsoft, I mean who thinks 2 stage locks are better than effectively a mouse click? Or that RB doesn’t work after a while unless you use your teeth to press it?

I've tried 3 elite 2 controllers, and every single one had face button registry issues, especially the A button. You have to either hard press it or hit it directly downward. Never had that problem with the regular controllers, many of those have stuff face buttons though. Very inconsistent, going to get a scuff through best buy now.

My scuf had stick drift after about 6 months of use... scuf said it was out of their 6 month warranty.. I will never buy a scuf for that reason.. it was a great controller until the stick drift..

i have 3 elite (all of them broken) and i have 2 scuf instinct pro (1 is broken) and i have to say scuf is much more premium than elite but it is minimalistic and feels at least for me much better. The mouse click of scuf is absurd good and you can put any analog stick you want. It's an amazing controller.
