Hey everybody, this can actually have bad effects on your budgie over time. Solo budgies will get depressed when they call out to the sounds but don't get a reply. I don't know how it affects groups of budgies hearing this. And sadly I do have real experience with this. I thought it was doing good for our lonely girl but she started going crazy, pushing on every little opening or bend in her old owner's cage. After a few minutes she got realy angry sounding(I found out later that some of the sounds were distress calls). She got really hyper but she looked tormented. So I looked it up and that's when I found out about how they react to other budgie sounds.

Instead, find music and natural sounds that they like.
