Just in case you guys still don’t know water is 800x denser than air.

As a beginner-shaver, being a super hairy dude I almost didn't recognize myself in the mirror 😅. I also felt embarrassed when all my colleagues gave me strange looks afterwards.

Shaving has been around since before the 1960 OLYMPICS. My coach Mike Troy, told us stories about the controversy while he was swimming and then later on in coaching.😊😊😊😊

I can't ever do a flip turn without getting water in my nose. Even tho I trickle breath while doing it.

How much time is shaved off (pun intended) by wearing a cap & by wearing jammers instead of a speedo?

There is no study that probes that it reduces drag

I like to swim and lap swim. I need medicine to swim. If I were coaching professional swimmers or swimming competitively, we'd shave as we wear speedos: to streamline our bodies and minimize gravitational drag. But I'm designing war planes and swimming is a metaphor. These large bulks, fronts, and wings are all massive wind friction and gravitational drag. We need to streamline our warplane structure so we can smoothly swim and maneuver through the sky with maximum rapidity, and attack and defense angles. I have explained other elements of this new American design elsewhere; and will stick to what's illustrated by why competitive swimmers wear close-hugging speedos and shave their bodies like Phelps. We need to shave down the wings; We have way more wings than are necessary to fly and maneuver the aircraft till all they're doing is slowing down both our speed and maneuverability. The nuclear fusion battery powered engine goes in the physics-superior central rear position with the alternating sun-disc two-function design. Unlike in most designs, the pilot's helm will not be in the front volunteering the lives of our valuable servicemembers to oncoming flak and fire; but in the rear center of the streamlined aircraft. The streamlined snubbish front will always have heavy gunnery and depending on the mission can and will alternate to firing missiles or dropping bombs. We don't need huge missiles or huge bombs; rather small warheads carry massive detonations increasingly. This design is reductionist but quite adequate in all important respects especially weaponry; the only real size and 'luxury' of the design is the comfortable, empowering pilot's cabin(suited for two war pilots.)

Good explanation. Would never shave though. Call it toxic masculinity. Guess that’s why I only play sports with balls.
