People pointed out that Bill pulled a pizza from the oven bare handed. Both legitimate reasons.
1. Boomhauer wasn't paying attention if Bill had mitts on.
2. He's the billdozer.

He talks normally because in his head it makes sense, and when he tells the story, he uses his voice to “voice” the other characters. He’s doing an impression AND he’s talking in his head at the same time

I have asperger's and this example of hearing things different, but sounding coherent to yourself, is pretty true and what I live through. This obviously is really extreme but goes to show how some of us perceive the world.
