I just found out that “stonebreaker” (aka chanca piedra) is the weed I have been pulling and tossing out of my garden for years. And I have been buying it, not knowing what it was. 😂😂😂 gripe water for babies is made from it. It’s literally a cure all for all things related to kidneys and liver. 😂😂😂

I wish so badly these were edible! Whenever we move the pig tractors, these grow behind them in the empty spaces and we have to pull them up. Weve never lost a pig so i dont think theyre eating them. The pods burst open and the wind carries them from the neighbor's pasture. My old garden looks like I cultivate them on purpose lol

The native huizaches(mesquites)start life out as a thorny weed, than progressing into a thorny bush and finally into a beautiful shade-providing small tree, that refreshes us humans with its coolness. : )

I used to run the garden there several years ago. After all that construction, nothing would grow anymore! I finally threw in the towel and now a company just landscapes the old garden

That's so funny. I know exactly the parking lot you are in. I parked right infront of those and zoomed in with my camera to try to identify them because they caught my attention too. I was tempted to propagate it, but don't know what the plant is. The ditch and tall weeds prevented me from going right up to it.

Yea that is my local supermarket. It used to be nice trees until they ripped it all up while building the condos. And left it as an ugly mess. Face palm
