I really want to get back into main’ing Japan but it feels like their only truly good land strategy is FC. Would love if they figured out how to make them a little faster in feudal and with a viable alternate castle age landmark.

In your malian game, when facing a lot of archers/javs make a ram and put your onna bugeisha inside of it. If he comes to kill it with spears, you will butcher them, otherwise you can break the mine and all the houses.

I think Mounted Samurai are great vs Byz because they don't have any equivalent cavalry units so you got mobility advantage. Especially if facing landsnakes IMO
