Checking to see if any of the young oak trees are alive. They turned brown over the summer due to the high temperatures and lack of water.
We dug down to see the condition of the acorns and the root system.
The acorns provide nutrition and moisture to help the young trees survive.
Amazing, and happily, it looks like these trees are alive and will survive.
Considering the live for 1,000 years-this is good news...its an amazing tree.
