Are These Viral Skincare Products Worth It? Part 1

Part 2 is now up! Go watch ❤️

Products mentioned:

1️⃣. The Ordinary soothing and barrier support serum went viral especially because of its pink colour. This is due to the vitamin B12 in it, not necessarily a ‘must have ingredient’ in skincare. I suspect it’s added perhaps more for the ‘virality’. The ingredients that really work for barrier support in jt are niacinamide, bisabolol and centella. It’s a great product to be used on irritated, redness prone and breakout prone skin - however not a must have in my opinion, if these aren’t your concerns or if your skincare products already have similar ingredients.

2️⃣. The D You In My Defence Moisturiser has been viral for a long tjme. I happened to try it once before it went viral and then once after! Both times, it worked well for my skin. Soothed it and particularly worked well at nighttime post exfoliation. I don’t think it’s a bad product but I do think it’s expensive AF! @cerave moisturiser is a great alternative to this in case you don’t want to spend a bomb or want something non-comedogenic or on a budget.

⏺️ Both these products may be safe during pregnancy/BF.

Ceramides is in every oil, every fat. Sunflower oil is pure ceramides- the highest you can find PLUS it’s non-comedogenic! Best to remove waterproof makeup AND to also use as a facial oil/ 2-3 drops to moisturise the whole face

U naturally have a very good skin with a great skin barrier. Because for the amount of products you try on your skin, it still glows. I can't even think of trying anything new other than a moisturizer.

For my dry skin, the cerave was okay but didn’t do much but the formula Rx ceramide plus peptide moisturiser, incredibly good! Do try it out

Cerave PM Hydrating Lotion is way better than the D'you moisturizer. Much better quality. D'you has less quantity and it's literally so overpriced, no one needs it. You don't need the highest concentration of ceramides in your moisturizer as claimed by D'you, you just need them in your moisturizer to remind your skin to produce more. There are even cheaper options than Cerave but better spend on Cerave than D'you if you've the money.

CeraVe is cheaper coz it has less quantity of Ceramides. D'you offers the most highest percentage of Ceramides and that's why it's expensive but so worth it for goodness of your skin haha❤

Shows the ordinary serum, mentioning vitamin b12.
Bro, you should have told us whether it provides skin tightening and moisture balance effects (or which is the role of cobalamin).
Hats off for not doing the bare minimum.

How many products do you use ? Every time you come up with a new product. Doesn't it harm your skin.? What's your skin type?

Please do a review on within beauty products specially the barrier reset ones... They retail at a slightly higher price when compared to other Indian drugstore skincare brands..but the ingredients seem promising

Don't use filter and then show your skin . Thank you. No hate but don't cheat the people. Cheating is not good 😊.
