Are These Viral Skincare Products Worth It? Part 1

Показать описание
Part 2 is now up! Go watch ❤️
Products mentioned:
1️⃣. The Ordinary soothing and barrier support serum went viral especially because of its pink colour. This is due to the vitamin B12 in it, not necessarily a ‘must have ingredient’ in skincare. I suspect it’s added perhaps more for the ‘virality’. The ingredients that really work for barrier support in jt are niacinamide, bisabolol and centella. It’s a great product to be used on irritated, redness prone and breakout prone skin - however not a must have in my opinion, if these aren’t your concerns or if your skincare products already have similar ingredients.
2️⃣. The D You In My Defence Moisturiser has been viral for a long tjme. I happened to try it once before it went viral and then once after! Both times, it worked well for my skin. Soothed it and particularly worked well at nighttime post exfoliation. I don’t think it’s a bad product but I do think it’s expensive AF! @cerave moisturiser is a great alternative to this in case you don’t want to spend a bomb or want something non-comedogenic or on a budget.
⏺️ Both these products may be safe during pregnancy/BF.
