I found quite an interesting coin load going through the family archives whilst moving. It's interesting what turns up in bureaus! Some were previously valued via a late friend a few years ago. This little lot were quite unexpected and were stuffed inside a tatty brown envelope. Fortunately, I did all the moving myself or they may have been missed. I tipped them out and what I have are 25 transport tokens that date from the 30s. They could have been struck yesterday. They migrated from London to Suffolk with my great aunt when she moved in with us when her husband died.

This made me laugh! I've just been able to pick up my first Kew for my collection. I'll never forget the first time I got one in my change, I was doing carboot's at the time. I looked at it and thought to myself that's a funny looking lighthouse and then promptly went to spend it 🤦‍♂😂 If I only I knew about the Kew!
