Justice Dept. charges three Iranians with hacking computer networks in global scheme

The Justice Department says the scheme targeted hundreds of corporate and government victims around the world. The hackers allegedly carried out the scheme for personal gain and not at the behest of the Iranian government. NBC News’ Cori Coffin has more details.

Electricity went out last night and night before last for several minutes with no notices from Entergy, as usual. No bad weather.. and this jumps our bill about 20 bucks each time, most likely. These new smart meters are not smart. The meter ran up when it happened... just like when entergy had to issue a credit to its users for overcharging in 2023... the bill immediatley increased (larger than its ever been before and they got their credit back in 3 months plus more and it never decreased again). We have no one that really watches out for the customer in this state! Thanks to democrats, kamalazoo and Biden for inflation i guess!

Ok so DOJ charged the hackers, now how about charging those responsible for failing to protect the data from being hacked that's the other half of the issue never discussed similar to complaining about thieves cleaning out your house when you didn't lock the door personal data is equal to top secret info and failure at that level should be charged - there will always be hackers
