As a home Depot employee you got to remember, that all stores don't clearance out the same things. You might find a clearance item in one store and 10 miles down the road that store is still selling at regular price. We do have clearance end caps, but I've never seen anything for a dollar.

Our family motto is check the clearance aisle first. 2nd motto is keep your drawers in the drawers and not on the floors. 😊

HD employee here and not every HD clearences out the same items there's alot that goes into it... this was a new extra product we got during covid that didn't sell well.. it went on clearence at my store too for that price eventually.

I got 20 bottles of it last month for 1 dollar now this one is real also got some bottle that spray for 1.50 about 10 of those

Issue I see is why would an average size container of common bleach cost 9.98. In grocery store it’s 2.69, dollar store a buck. This is large Corp marking up items then write it off to increase there loss value taxes.
