Manute Bol is quite an amazing player in the NBA. He was an African sensation out of Sudan who was giving charities to his country. I’m glad I got the opportunity to watch him play. I grew up in southern New Jersey about 30 minutes away from Philadelphia. Back in the 90s our church group took a field trip to the spectrum to watch the Sixers play the Hawks our group got to go down to the court before the game during warm-up and meet the team, I was able to meet Manute Bol and I shook his hand. This day, I will never forget how cold that hand was. I’ve always assumed it’s because it took so much time and distance for the blood to get from his heart to his hand and back to his heart that never had a chance to warm up.😂
