Why Is the Mini Velo a Superior Choice?

In this video, Luke, our warehouse manager, talks about the Rufus, our latest mini velo. We're not new to the mini velo game and we think our experience really shows in the refinements made to this particular model.

I dont know about the US but in Germany you are allowed to take your bike also into the subway. Sometimes even within the bus. There this size really becomes handy.

I have your previous mini-velo, it’s such a great rider, really agile but feels like your normal road bike, geometry wise. Yea, tire choices are less with 451 size. I’m surprised that mini velos aren’t more popular, cuz they’re super fun

Small wheels = easy to get going from a dead stop and way easier to do tricks! Most BMX bikes are getting closer and closer to the mini velo form factor because that is more fun, honestly.

This is a very niche ask, but a mini velo that uses the same size as wheelchair wheels (24") would be awesome. I might have to sell all my 700c bikes because it's getting harder to balance on them. Might as well save the space by using the same wheels on everything.

I love my Dahon Hemingway, but the only reason it's my daily rider is because I can't seem to find anyone that makes a geared 20-inch BMX. If I recall correctly, SE Bikes used to offer one a few years ago, but I may be misremembering things in my old age.
