Recumbent Trike Ride in Moroccan countryside.

This time I'm out for a Recumbent Trike ride in Moroccan countryside. I take Trinny out of Casablanca for a trip to the in-laws at a small village near Berrechid.
The weather is still incredibly hot for the time of year (September) so I set off in the early morning hoping to arrive at my destination before the worst of the heat. It didn't work out that way...

I ride an adapted HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS26 trike.
My panniers are made by Ortlieb.
I film using a Canon G7X MkII, GoPro Hero 6 and a DJI Spark Drone ( I dont use the drone in Morocco as they are banned). I also occasionally use my Galxy S9 phone to record some footage but prefer not too if I can help it.

Wow. That is every trip I will never take! Heat, traffic, foreign language, dust, dogs... lol Thank you! I loved watching and feel satisfied that I've been there now. :) It is pouring rain and cold here, the day after Christmas, and my new trike is in the back of my car, waiting for me to head out on a trip to the Mohave Desert. It will be a very tame trip, compared to Morocco, but I will get to ride across the London Bridge! (They moved it to Lake Havasu Arizona, did ya know? And I just found out that the Eiffel tower is out there in the desert, too. We recycle!)

I biked at 40 plus heat in the Moroccan South, I took extra water with me and wore cotton shirts that I made wet from time to time, made a huge difference.

That bicycle road in the middle of the street is strange but I also understand what they wanted to do. You aren't on the side of the excits of the road. Only by the roundabout it was strange and getting on it. The positive thing is, is that they added a small barrier to keep the cars out of the lane.
You can see that they thought about it. They only executed it terrible.
I am always surprised that almost no country has bike lines as we do here.
With so much sun there it is strange that they don't use solar power for the phone palm trees.

So hot so early, that is insane.
The dogs are all happy to see you.

Part of me says i’d like to do that. I’d much rather do that vicariously through you. I did enjoy the video. I am in central Canada and the temperature will be about 30 degrees celsius today. That is hot enough for me.

Wow! What a ride Tim!! Made me tired just watching. I noticed what looks to be water bottle cage mounting bosses on the front derailleur post. Why not mount a bottle cage there and carry extra water?

Btw, that every man for himself mentality is everywhere. Not just in the road. IMHO, it's the main reason the Moroccan economy is not doing so great.
