FM mobile was my gateway to playing it on the PC. Less to worry about, much easier to digest and learn, definitely a nice way to get into the world of football manager

There is another mobile fm mobile only version it’s fm touch which is only available on Apple Arcade for some reason

2d is nice Zealand because when you score a long shot for example you use your imagination to create a picture of the goal plus you avoid all those bad 3D animation and reactions .

I've been playing FM mobile for years.. most of the things you said you can't do you actually can.. you missed like 50% of the game 😁 edit: libero does work but not on the corners where the players following (changable) instructions

FM24 Mobile (which comes with Netflix) is actually different than FM24 Touch (which comes with Apple Arcade). Touch is a lot closer to the PC version, whereas Mobile has a lot less features

What I love about mobile version is that players attributes do improve a lot overtime, and that position versatility training can easily improve

As someone who started playing from mobile changing to pc, I think the transfer section on mobile is much more simpler for me to understand

I've exclusively played the mobile version since FM20, it's got its quirks but it's really fun just to fly through seasons on the go.

Straight away I was thinking "wait until he sees the 2D match engine". Didn't phase him as much as I thought. I've been playing FM since before they even had the 2D dots and it was such a game changing innovation so I still look at it fondly. Can't wait to see FM25's unity engine though.

Next try console. I don’t currently have a computer (well I have access to a craptop with 2gb ram and the latest version on my steam account, FM18, won’t even open LOL) so I’m stuck playing on PS5 and mobile……..
I’m in 2034 on console and I about to get to the end of my first save on mobile, along with having 5 challenges done. I can atleast talk to and discipline players when I want to on mobile… that’s not an option on console unless they get sent off

The closest I get to playing the real game is watching YT videos

Z, i don't know if you've played the Touch version but it has 3D match engine.

5:10 It kinda is an option on squad numbers screen you can automatically assign them. Downside is you get newgens whose favourite number is like number one and the game will give it him even if he isn't the number 1.

10:33 Yes you can Zeeland! if you tap in those bottoms that say "Attack" and "Defense" it let's you create your tactis with personal instructions to all your payers, I think it's pretty cool. A fun advise: asign one of your players to annoy the keeper in corners and he will score at last few goals no matter your tactic
