Hey everyone and welcome back to Zeepkist! Today we are back with a new update to Zeepkist which adds flight controls! This update allows us to more accurately control pitch when we are floating through midair which allows us to make crazy tracks like this death star trench run!

Yannic needs to get Kan to cosmetic this map up a bit, add those cannons Kan mentioned firing green neon tubes (lasers) and add it to the main adventure mode. He could make a X shaped plane car as a reward.

That first person view is much harder to control but the view is wonderful, reminds me of the old x-wing arcade games. Loved this map.

That talk near the end about space battle physics is why I've always loved The Expanse. All the ships operate under real world physics. Space battles are carried out in 3 stages, long range torpedo bombardment, mid range railgun engagement, short range PDC exchanges. But the smaller ships especially are constantly switching their engines on and off as the use reaction control thrusters to flip around and change course. It's actually a really enjoyable form of space combat.

I'd love to see some Ace Combat inspired flying tracks in the future. Maybe fly through Megalith or do the AC2/AHL/3DCR canyon or fly through the Chandelier.

Regarding Kosmo's comment at 11:12, I have indeed played one on keyboard and the layout would be correct for that, but not on controller where brake (B) makes you go up and hands UP (A / RB for me) makes you go down ;)
Enjoyed the flying tho after getting slightly used to the inputs ^^

For a flying track should make a city scape with helicopter checkpoints so people get that ace pilot racing feel. You could have easy flight paths to the checkpoints as well as incredibly tight difficult routes for optimizing time.

That's cool that both ideas in my comment on the first scaled omnibooster video were used. I said Kan should make a plane race track and a space trench run. It doesn't look like he saw it, so we both thought the same thing.
Now we need a track where you loose all your wheels and fly around super fast.

I love me some Star Wars, I like the idea of trench run. It's the mechanics and handling that make flying in Zeepkist practically impossible for me. And I'm fully aware that I spent the stream relentlessly shitting on your creation kAN. But that's just the evidence of massive skill issue on my end more than anything else xD Great job. Keep it up <3
