Did you start out back in the days of manual lenses? Or are you a savvy photographer who knows how to save a bundle on lenses by buying classic glass? There are countless lenses from the past few decades that perform as well or better than their modern counterparts, and only cost a fraction as much. What's the problem? No auto-focus!
That's why we've created the PRONTO Auto-Focus Lens Adapter for Sony cameras. Using your camera's Phase Detection auto-focus system, the PRONTO can auto-focus practically any manual lens you attach to it. The PRONTO is designed to mount Leica M lenses, but by attaching a second adapter (see list below), you can mount Nikon, M42, Pentax K lenses, and many more!
It's so simple. Just set your lens to infinity focus, mount it onto the PRONTO, and then attach the whole setup to your camera. Turn on your camera, and in a few seconds you're ready to shoot! The PRONTO uses Sony's auto-focus data to dynamically position your lens to nail focus every time, and it's nearly as fast as a native Sony lens.
