Bard Shadowheart is a Menace to Society

All the playable characters have bardic insult lines that almost nobody ever hears. Here are some choice clips from bard Shadoweart in Act 1.

I didn't think Larian would even think of getting the VA's for the origin characters to voice vicious mockery lines too, but I'm glad they did.

My whole party has vicious mockery as a feat. If enemy is low I will often insult them to death. Even funnier is when it's one enemy left and low hp, everyone will cast vicious mockery and the enemy will die of cringe.

The best vicious mockery line is and will always be from Minthara: "Do as your legs and end in defeat" That line even gave me psychic damage and I had disadvantage when trying to do anything else but stare at the monitor, my life flashing before my eyes, for the better part of 10 minutes. I am now seeing a therapist and while progress is slow I think I might be able to life a normal life again in many, many years.

From what I've gathered, the VA's really took a long time recording so many lines for the game, but despite that, they loved working on the game. It really shows that Larian knows how to treat their games, AND their talent. Truly a game company of all time.

This is just absolute madness. What other game devs would even consider doing such a thing? They must have spent months in meetings just saying "But what if the player wants to do this...?"

Astarions Vicious Mockery lines are also hilarious. When sneaking with Karlach she will eventually mention that she's too big for that kind of stuff, the devs really went the distance with these

Other game devs would've locked the Origin characters' class. But no, Larian responds to, "What if the player does...?" with, "Yeah, let's cover that too!"

At first I had turned her into a paladin, then I realized how well does 1 level into paladin synergizes really well with all other levels into bard and my first playthrough took an unexpected turn for the best.

To me, she'll always be my palabard. Shart best girl.
